KAUNA Development Version 0.11 Released!

Version 0.11 brings a range of quality improvements, including saved settings and performance optimizations for a smoother gameplay experience.

Player movement has been fine-tuned for better control, especially around edges and ledges, reducing slipperiness. Platforming is now more precise, as the player stops more responsively during jumps.

The highlight of this update is the extensive work on E1M3. The new version of this level is now fully playable from start to finish.

The new E1M3 - Forgotten Village is a mysterious, mist-shrouded settlement teeming with danger. Enemies lurk in the foggy streets, ready to ambush unwary players.

The level's centerpiece is an enormous building, its roof pierced by a strange cube. This cube has carved a tunnel leading to a neighboring area, where the end area awaits.

Additionally, minor updates include a new 3D model for the Rocket and the reimplementation of wall blood splatters for enhanced visual effects.

  • player can now walk more easily on the edges and feels less "slippery"
  • player movement stops a little bit earlier than before making jumping on platforms easier
• re-implemented wall blood splatters: When enemy is standing next to a wall and is shot, blood splatter
    appears on the wall.
